QLD:More transparency needed on insurance: LNP
CAIRNS, Feb 4 AAP - The Queensland government needs to justify why it has not taken
out comprehensive insurance to protect its infrastructure from natural disasters, Opposition
Leader John-Paul Langbroek says.
"Queensland is the only state not to pay the premium for re-insurance, meaning many
companies do not share the risk of payouts," he said.
The Liberal National Party (LNP) is now calling on treasurer Andrew Fraser to justify
the decision.
