NSW:NSW drivers ring up $13m phone fines

Tens of thousands of NSW motorists have been caught using mobile phones while driving
in the last 12 months, copping fines totalling more than 13 million dollars.

Insurance firm Bingle says those aged between 18 and 24 are the worst offenders, and
are six times more likely to be distracted by a text message than those aged 50 and over.
